Good to know : The road is straight and well-maintained. Leave early in the morning to enjoy the whole day.

Marrakech → Ouarzazate & Aït Benhaddou

Morocco's most spectacular road. Cross the Tichka pass at 2,260m altitude, discover the lunar landscapes of the Anti-Atlas and visit the kasbah used as a set for Game of Thrones and Gladiator.

Aït Benhaddou

UNESCO-listed ksar. Fortified earthen village, set of many Hollywood films.

CLA Film Studios

Visit the sets of Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven and Game of Thrones. Ouarzazate is 'Morocco's Hollywood'.

Valley of Roses

If visiting in May, the Dades Valley is in bloom. Rose Festival in Kelaat M'Gouna.

Good to know : Winding road with many switchbacks. Drive carefully and enjoy the panoramic rest stops.

Marrakech → Ouzoud Waterfalls

Morocco's most beautiful waterfalls with a 110-meter drop in a lush green setting. Swimming in natural pools, wild Barbary macaques and a permanent rainbow in the mist.

Imi n'Ifri Natural Bridge

Stop en route: a spectacular natural bridge carved in rock. Not touristy and free.

Ouzoud Waterfalls

110 meters of freefall. Descend the stairs to the foot of the falls for a breathtaking panorama.

Boat Ride

For 20 MAD, sail at the foot of the waterfalls. Prepare to get splashed!

Barbary Macaques

Barbary macaques live freely around the waterfalls. They are used to visitors but watch your belongings.

Good to know : Bring a swimsuit in summer. The natural pools at the base of the waterfalls are refreshing.
